Business Development Intern (f/m) at Medbelle

Business Development Intern (f/m)

Full-Time in Berlin, DE - Internship - Business Development

Hi there!

My name is Benjamin and I am the Head of Business Development here at Medbelle, where it is our mission to build the first digital hospital.

Healthcare is one of the least digitised and standardised industries, making it incredibly inefficient and often causing negative patient experiences.

We are reinventing healthcare to make it work as it should. Medbelle offers medical procedures whilst leveraging technology to make the process simple from start to finish.

Backed by renowned international investors, we are helping an ever-growing number of patients - a tremendous challenge for our business development team, where it's our job to plan and execute projects that take our service to the next level. This does not only include improving internal processes but also finding new external partners that benefit the overall patient experience.

That’s why we are looking for an addition to our team! Chances are you’re a great fit if you…

  • have recently finished your studies or are still studying business, economics, or a related field. Ideally at a European or American top-tier university.
  • have an entrepreneurial mindset paired with analytical skills and hands-on mentality.
  • enjoy working independently and taking over lots of responsibility.
  • have a good understanding of working with Excel / G Sheets and ideally basic coding skills
  • are eager to learn, have very good English skills and a passion for results.

By the end of your internship, you will have learnt how to…

  • take full ownership of projects and execute them from idea to finish.
  • point out improvement potential and add value to a growing business.
  • handle industry-standard tools: advanced Excel / G Sheets, Salesforce, etc. as well as the basics of every tech startup: Slack, Trello, JIRA, etc
  • research new market opportunities in a structured manner.
  • understand business models by working across departments.

What the crew is like & why I love working here…

By uniting the brightest minds in the industry with an insatiable passion for building the best possible patient experience, we have created a big family of healthcare professionals, engineers, and entrepreneurs that are striving towards bringing healthcare to the twenty-first century. We're a small and truly international team with a strong focus on numbers and growth, but also love to do fun stuff and spend time together outside the office. As a typical Berlin startup, this comes with the typical perks and benefits: free coffee & British tea, fruits, an amazing Villa in Kreuzberg, Friday memes and team events we better not talk about here.

We move quickly. If you are a great match, we can cover the initial phone interview, on-site interview with me and chat with the founders in one week. I look forward to hearing from you!
